An extended weekend of outstanding character design in animation, motion graphics and music visuals on the big screen, with artist presentations, lectures and VJ parties.
We’ve been thrilled by more than 1000 international entries of all sizes and colors. The boiled down distillation will send you on an astonishing two-and-a-half day odyssey of overwhelming visual ecstasy. Curated programs of the very best in character driven animation, motion graphics and music visuals will be accompanied by special screenings, presentations, lectures and premiers.
The 2nd Pictoplasma Festival is being hosted once again by the charming film theatre Babylon-Mitte, located in the heart of Berlin. As always with Pictoplasma events, we’re facing the problem of slightly more demand than amount of seats. So, first come-first served.
